Well. Kinda. Sorta. Almost.


Done with my first printmaking project. Done by all hand made stencils. This took me FOREVER. Forever.


There are two more, but I don't like those so I am going to forget about them.


I also finished my first photo project tonight. We only need one image and I am not sure which one I am going to go with yet. What do you think.
So. Critique these tomorrow and then drawing project due on Friday. And then I am done, just in time for it to start all over again.

Manic Monday

This is the time of year when I look at the calendar four or five times a day and go what! It is still only January! So Mondays are even worse in the winter. Actually Mondays never really bothered me all that much, there are a few select Mondays but not many that I could have slept all the way through. But it is still only January and so I really like this poster I found by No Days Off.





When I start feeling sorry for myself that it is Monday I remember something I over heard my Grandma say "It's Monday for everybody you know." I had never thought of it that way until I heard her say it and somehow whenever I think of that it helps me get over my crap Mondays.

I finally got around to uploading my final project from photo 4, the colors don't look nearly as cool as they did when they were printed by the labs awesome Epson printer, but color profiles are a fickle thing that I don't feel like messing with anymore so this is what they will look like on the internet. Click here to see slide show in the order that they were displayed.

My Christmas Present

Mom got me this Martha Cast Iron Pot for Christmas this year and I loooove it.

Mark took this picture of me making Risotto in it. Which was delicious. She also bought be a subscription to Martha Stewart's Everyday Food so I will be sure to have lots of new recipes to try out.

What an awesome day.

Fire Drill

Someone pulled the fire alarm in the art building last Wednesday, that happened to be the day it was freezing and snowing... a bunch. We had to wait for the fire trucks to show up and everything. It added a little excitement to the first week of class.
