Lights, Camera Action

Just got done watching dooce's first update about her new office. She mentioned something about taking longer than expected because "new equipment". I am totally feeling her. It's so exciting to finally get it but it never make your life as easy as you think it would.

Super excited about this book.

I have been reading Heather's blog since.... forever. I am super excited to see she has a new book coming out because of it. If all blogs could be as amazing as hers the internet would be a truly wonderful place.

Oxford, Oxford, Oxford

At the end of the third week of class I came home and passed out for five hours last night. While this has to my best semester yet, it is full of classes that are a lot of work. Much more conceptual than classes in the past, so when Friday gets here my brain is done. To give it a break I decided we need to watch a movie. We watched The Darjeeling Limited for the first time. Not my favorite Wes Anderson movie, but very Wes Anderson.

We watched a extra about the making of the movie, and when they were walking through the real train they bought to make the movie in I realized I like his movies so much because of the sets he creates. They are like another character, a very surreal, very beautiful character.

I Want To Believe

Donna and Jim took us out to see the new Indiana Jones Movie yesterday. As we were walking out of the theater I noticed this poster.

They're back! I have seen the boot legged preview, but now they have an official site and an official trailer posted at xfiles.com. I am hoping this one will be better than the last movie. The only season Mark and I haven't watch is Season 8, but that is the season where there is no Mulder. I don't think I can handle X-Files with no Mulder. I guess I am going to have to before July 25th.

The stars shine brighter

This lovely blog post John Mayer wrote yesterday defending Jessica Simpson only makes me like him 100% more than I use to. Plus, I am not even close to being from Texas and I absolutely love it, I have no problem at all believing he is telling the truth.

Reals

Every couple weeks I remember that apple.com has an amazing collection of movie trailers. I usually hold off on watching them until its going to take me at least a good 20 minutes to make it through all of them. I love movies I just am very picky about which ones I will actually give two hours of my life to. Stranger Than Fiction is always worth it for me, so is Return To Me. In the past year I have had very little desire to see anything in the theater. So I just watch the trailers to keep up on what is happening in Hollywood. Today while I was waisting time before I had to go pick Mark up from class I realized that it was once again time to go through all the new movies. Music Within and Juno look amazing. I think I'm going to pass on Jumper though.
