Style File: Men's Winter Fashions

Buying boy clothing is more than a little intimidating for me. I don't know anything about sizing, what is good what isn't? Accessories? No idea.
This year I would like to be able to buy the Hubs a Christmas present with a little fashion sense to it so I have started research. I really like the Fall Winter collection from Dundee this year. The mix of earthy colors and the city aesthetic keeps pulling me in. Not too sure about the pants and shoes though.

What are your favorite boy fashion finds?

Always a sucker for scallops

I have been a little busy lately and have fallen out of my regular blog reading loop. I love blogs. A blog is a conversation with the whole world. Awesome. Anyway Bliss posted a coat a couple days ago and I have to give homage ....

Things will not make me happy

Kamal gave us a coupon for 30% off anything we want at old navy, gap, banana republic, piperlime and athletica. I knew I should have held out and not looked.... but piperlime has the best boots anywhere and I couldn't help myself.

Sigh. They would be perfect for work. I knew I shouldn't have looked. The sale ends tomorrow. Lets see if I can make it.

Cowl in Charcoal

Fall is on its way and I am trying to find every reason I can to be excited about it. I really do love fall the crisp air, the campus exploding with the color of the leafs but I know when I look at those leafs they are going to be gone soon and then it is a long, cold road until everything is green again.
I am not saying that this cowl by jezebel would fix everything but it looks so cozy and warm I would welcome a day when I would need it to keep the chill off.

Handmade Nation

Look at this amazing skirt at darling dexter's new etsy store. I love the idea of hand made clothes and when they look this pretty I can't help but daydream about having one myself.

Another really cool thing in my state I had no idea about.

While looking for some Indie Craft shows TealTown Ink could attend over the summer that are not in San Fransisco (although that would be lovely) I found a link to Ohio Knitting Mills in Cleveland Ohio. Founded in 1928 it was the countries largest knitted wear producers. It hit its peak in the 40's and after WWII took samples of each style they produced from the 40's through the 60's and put them in storage. Now they are selling those pieces.

I would love to spend a day looking through all of these clothes. It looks like they only have a store in Brooklyn and we don't plan on visiting there for a while so I guess I will have to wait and settle with looking at their on-line catalog.
