Work a day-day

I got a new job uptown in a little store that sells stylish clothing and vegan friendly make up. Perfect! I have worked everyday this week but one and I am loving it! They also sell cool picture frames that they have set up all over the store. I told them that I would be happy to take some photos of the store so they could replace the cheesy photos that come with the frame. I took my camera the past two times I have worked and had a couple chances snap some

Shot this one for a promotional thing that is going to be going on soon.
I hope they like them!

This is the display case I got to set up on my second day. I feel like this picture makes it look kinda hectic but I think that is because of the weird stuff I had to do to make the photo panoramic.

On a side note I used rollip.com to create the awesome vintage look and floating boarder. I love rollip.com.

TealTown Ink Studios Update

Slowly very, very, very slowly I am updating the product photos over at TealTown Ink. It is all a matter of waiting for a day nice enough we can still feel comfortable if we go outside. Considering southern Ohio is nothing but a big gray, wet, despairing place this time of year that might not be for a while.

Mark and I have also been working on some new designs. The pie poster seems to have set off a couple more ideas for tee's involving wonderful foods from bacon to cheese.

We have also sold a couple of curtain orders lately and after a couple weeks of frustration with everything from customer satisfaction to the printing process we were ready to retire them from our shop for good. However, because of all the prints we have had to make these past weeks we are now printing large chandeliers like pro's. The latest set looks amazing. So we decided to keep them up, but upped the price because we have also learned they are a wee bit harder to print then we originally thought.

From the Tree Tops

As all college students are we are poor. I had hoped after the wedding I would be able to help our situation by finding an upstanding establishment that would be willing to pay me for my services. When it comes to services I am multi-talented. Cooking, cleaning, organizing, listening to people whine about their "problems" with the upstanding establishment, standing on my feet for 8 hours, or sitting on my butt for 8 hours.
However, despite the multitudes of "Now Hiring" signs posted in the windows Up Town no one actually seems to be hiring. I have spent many hours in the past few days filling out applications. After handing in my well written and meticulously thought out two pages I go home to wait for two or three days, after which I call where ever I have happened to currently be begging for a job. I am quickly informed that they are done hiring where they would need me. Oh. I'm. Sorry. But. Probably. That.... would have been a nice thing to know before I took the time to fill out your stupid application that forced me to think critically about my favorite color, and what I enjoy about coffee.

After a busy day of not finding a job Mark and I went out on the town where I completed assignment three from Superhero Journal.
